Whilst Vuescan is very good, it cannot do filtering out of lint etc on Kodachrome (it can on other types of slide film). This is not an issue if your slides are thoroughly clean before scanning. The best scanners for Kodachrome were the last generation of Nikon Coolscan ED film scanners.
